A couple of extra acclimatization days ensure a relaxed and enjoyable pace. As part of this unique journey we will be joined by youth from the Umbrella Foundation Orphanage in Kathmandu. Our work experience program has proved to be incredibly valuable in its goal of offering employment opportunities to disadvantaged youth in Nepal. Included in your trek costs, you will be sponsoring one young man from Umbrella to accompany the trek and gain priceless work experience and life skills. We hope that throughout the trek our relationship with these inspiring young men will offer a sense of mentorship and experience to help their challenging transition into an independent lifestyle.
